| | Managing Expectations of Politicians In Poverty Reduction Feb 6th 2013, 19:00 | Amadeus Kamagenge of the Tanzania Social Action Fund (TASAF) says policy experts must work to manage the expectations of politicians for poverty reduction efforts. Politicians are key to reaching target populations, says Kamagenge, so they must be supplied with program information and messaging to ensure details are accurately shared with citizens. In addition, he says, politicians must be kept updated on program rollouts. Policy experts will often want to conduct interventions in limited states at first to ensure the program is working the way it is designed before a national launch, but elected officials will typically want the full program to be rolled out as soon as possible. | Views: 6 0 ratings | | Time: 01:23 | More in Nonprofits & Activism |

| | Day 1 Charity Nov 10th 2012, 22:23 | Here's how our charity model works: 1. Through the products you choose to use and/or sell, you can give as much as 100% of your Day 1 earnings to your favorite charity if you so desire! You can choose any charity, and if you belong to a group that already supports a charity, you can get the whole group started maximizing their giving! 2. Day 1 will match YOUR contribution each month - up to 10%! That's right! You'll be able to double your generosity! So for example, when you earn $1000 in a month, and decide to give back 10% to your charity, your charity doesn't just get $100 - they receive $200! NOTE: Donations are optional. You are not required to donate any Day 1 earnings in order to participate in our business model, or receive compensation from Day 1.
